Food prices spiked during the summer of 2012 as the United States was hit by a severe drought and dry weather plagued other producers. When we began this site just over four years ago we had a terrible time from one meat journal publisher, who at that time was boasting 30,000 visitors a month and they have been in business for over 100 years.
We soon learned thay had no interest in the meat industry only the advertising dollars they could secure and selling tickets to 5 star hotel exhibitions at £150 a pop.
Today we get 30,000 visits in the first six hours of the the month so by 6 am this morning we will have had more visitors the this meat trade journal will get in the whole of April, this is why they never publish audited figures on their site.
