The veterinary authority sent an Immediate Notification dated 21 July to the World Organisation for Animal Health (OIE).
The report describes six outbreak of bluetongue in sheep in the southern region of Sud between 10 and 12 July. A total of 1,069 animals were affected, of which there were 20 cases and three sheep died.
