In July 2007 and again in September 2008 Muslim community were urged by me to boycott all halal products in the UK as they could not be trusted and at the time Masood Khawaja spokesman for Halal Food Authority, which certify slaughterhouses and processing plants, said the boycott was “preposterous” and that halal standard were high in the UK, so high that 3 months ago he certified a company in Eire that was producing Halal pies for 3663 which had pork DNA which were been consumed by prison inmates, what has changed? 3663 have got a new supplier this time in Wales certified by HFA who are doing covert Halal. At no time have 3663 or HFA every apologised to the Muslim inmates.
