The MBE awarded to NPA webmaster Digby Scott is well-deserved says BPEX director Mick Sloyan.
Digby Scott, publisher of Pig World, received his MBE in the Queen's Birthday Honours list published this morning.
Mick Sloyan said: "Digby has devoted himself to the industry for many years.
He has worked tirelessly promoting and defending the industry. He has also given BPEX and me much support and advice over the years.
"In times of crisis he has been the lynchpin in communications to the industry. His dedication was acknowledged in 2001 when he won the David Black Award, the highest honour the pig industry can bestow."
